State Special Rebate Offers

Official Notification of GA State Special Rebate State Financial Year (SFY) 2012

Open Bid session Manufacturers may begin submitting Diabetic Supply offers April 1, 2011.

A general overview of the bidding timeline is as follows:
  • Bidding submission period - April 1, 2011 - May 31, 2011
  • GA rview of all diabetic supply categories and associated offers - June 2011
  • Notification to manufacturers of State of GA final decisions - On or about August 12, 2011

GA will not allow multi year contracting at this time. Each SFY bid session requires a new bid submission in order for products to be considered. Please download the attached Georgia State Special Rebate offer spreadsheet to submit your offer and remit to gaoffers@ghsinc.com

Important note:

  • The AWP and WAC rates submitted need to reflect 2011 Quarter One (1/1/2011- 3/31/2011) rates.
    • Spreadsheets that have rates listed other than 2011 Q1 will be returned for rate update.
  • All offer submission rates and offers need to be submitted per unit.
    • Example: A box of 100 strips that has an AWP/WAC rate listed per box needs to be divided by 100 to get to the individual strip unit price.
  • Incomplete spreadsheets will be returned and will not be considered for state review unless a completed spreadsheet is returned before the deadline.
  • If WAC rates are not published you must include the AWP calculation used to calculate the WAC rate for each NDC/HRI used in the bid submission.
    • This should be added under the comment section upon submission.
  • Manufacturers who submit product information without an offer use the subject ‘Non Offer Product Information Review Request’ in their email submission.
    • These products will be presented to Georgia for their consideration.
    • Official bid notification will not be sent to manufacturers that did not submit an actual bid.

Please send any clarification requests and all offers to gaoffers@ghsinc.com

If GHS receives multiple offer submissions by the manufacturer for same HRI/NDCs for same SFY, earlier submissions will be replaced with the newest completed offer spreadsheet and that version will be presented to DCH.
